Once upon a time, I bought a mead horn, that came with a holster, but I didn't really liked it since it was made out of black chrome tanned leather, and had modern two piece rivets as decoration, so I took upon my hands to make a worthy holster for this horn.

The know was taken from the book of kells, embossed on 2mm vegetal tanned leather, painted with water based pigments and the rest treated with neatfoot's oi.
