I'm now onto writing book 5 in the Legend of Ahya series. It's the book I've personally been waiting for because it has the most emotional gut punches for me and pushes many of the characters we've grown to know and love into new and sometimes harrowing directions. Furthermore, it is also the book I finally introduce Llydia, my fluff dragon, properly into the series narrative. She's been hinted at for so long, but with her unveiling, I can show off the character I have for her! One of the scenes I had in mind was her being utterly fascinated with Taylor's tailmaw, Ahya. In her experience, Llydia's never encountered anyone with a feature quite like hers and she wants to pet it and poke it and see what it's all about! However, Ahya isn't really having this sort of prodding business and decides to bite the dragon out of both irritation and maybe a bit of fear. Taylor could do little to this sudden, rash action by Ahya and had to do her best to pull her tail back. Llydia decides she doesn't like tailmaws anymore and this one is a bad one and Taylor should return it if she can and get a better one!
