After the New Hordos War, there was an enormous need for job industry and influx of positions that needed to be filled given the vast amount of immigrants surging into the nation of Talkar - all keen and intent on rebuilding the reptile nation and wanting to become a part of the next burgeoning world superpower in the wake of the High Council's defeat. Mammals were an adaptive lot and knew when the chips were down, you sided with the strongest to survive.

One of those new job positions was dentistry. There were plenty of mammals and reptiles who sorely needed dental hygiene and this blossoming trade was becoming quite lucrative. However, there was still a lot of distrust against the new reptile conquerors, and so Taylor, being the beacon of peace between the nations and the cause for ending the war just as it began, she had to be the one to showcase that she trusted in the new system and its job sector. She was the first patient to be seen and filmed for all to see that it was going to be alright. This did little to appease the fears of both Ahya and the dentist in question who had to operate on something that could eat him whole if he drilled wrongly.
