He was ever the searcher for information and knowledge for its own sake and typically ended up being the smartest in any room he found himself in, schooling others with the history and knowledge he had gained over the years. This wealth of information put him at the forefront of his group during the war with Al-Talkar, ultimately landing him with the role of being leader and decider of their fates - a position he did not want or relish, but with the help of Mikhail's support, he accepted reluctantly for the betterment of his family and friends.
