This was one of two birthday gifts from my lovely and beautiful friend, Ruolina. It was such an amazing surprise and I adore them! Ruolina and I go back years to 2016. We've been good friends since our first commission together and I loved both her and her work so much that I made her my book cover artist for the entirety of the Legend of Ahya series. She is also my fantastic female beta reader amongst a cadre of male ones. Why is that important? Because she is helping me provide that female perspective on Taylor and many other female characters in the novels and offering suggestions and advice on how to make them more true to life and realistic in interaction. She has been such a boon to my life and I'm very happy to have met her. Thanks to her yet again for such a fantastic birthday gift!
