As Taylor grew older into adulthood and became a parent, she was surrounded by loving friends and family (and lovers). This helped boost her self-esteem about her body and her looks and most importantly, about being born with a tailmaw. Having people who loved and accepted her did wonders for her self-image and she began to embrace her new role in the emerging climate after the war. She was more bold with her advances and appeals to attention. Something that Jake Thumping heartily encouraged! At this point, there's a certain 'look' she gives him now when he knows something is about to occur within the next half-hour that would take them both out of the public eye for a time!
