I do love challenging artists to go outside their comfort zone to expand their skills into areas they may not have otherwise considered. When I approached Skelly-doll for a feral dragon commission, she was immediately interested in trying out something new. Having not done anything feral, let alone a dragon, she was keen on attempting this commission. I didn't really have a solid idea for her other than: Llydia is in a forest and looking curiously at something. For a first time drawing a character she had little experience in doing previously, I didn't want to burden Skelly-doll is a highly specific commission idea. Rather, I let her inspiration and artistic freedom dictate and guide what she would do and I ended up with a lovely piece of art with my darling Llydia!
