A lot of people asked if since Ahya sometimes has a mind of her own, does she also have romantic desires that are the same or different from Taylor? To answer that question, the simple answer is yes. They do have their own specific tastes in males, however, they each view them in uniquely different ways. Since Ahya cannot smell, hear or see potential mates, she must instead sense them by feel and taste. This, of course, can lead into all sorts of interesting and embarrassing situations when the two don't agree on what constitutes a good mate.
