Originally an experiment to give vampires immunity to sunlight. While successful, there were...side effects.
Classified as a "Meta-Vampire", Maria is significantly faster & stronger than "normal" vampires as well as having slightly higher-leveled telepathy. As mentioned she is unharmed by the sun's rays.
She is mischievous, flirty & playful to the point of irresponsibility, she cares nothing for the politics of the Coven. She can be haughty & vain, but not to an excessive degree.
