The Fallen by Darasmera
A knight stands above his fallen foe
Their dance with death at last over
Yet, as the hero turns away
He looks back, but sees no villain
He sees a man, ever bound by honor
The knight wonders, who will mourn him?
Has a country lost its greatest hero?
Will a wife grieve for her lost husband?
Are there children bereft of a father?
A foe is not always an evil creature. All too often, there are good people on both sides of any conflict, and it is all too easy to forget this.
