Long Live The Goblin King

RIP DAVID BOWIE.

I must confess I wasn't the biggest David Bowie fan, growing up. My parents didn't pay attention to pop culture so I was never raised with his music or movies. But I always respected his brave, over-the-top looks. He is one of the biggest people, who was true to himself.Encouraging people to be themselves, no matter how much it goes against society is the most political thing you can do. David Bowie has always had my respect. This was his legacy, being your true self and not caring about the thoughts of others.

Furthermore, I loved him in The Labyrinth, him and the glass balls were mesmerizing!
and I am getting into his final album; Blackstar, Lazarus is my favourite song. This album (his 25th!!) incorporates his own death as art... and it is so something David Bowie would do.

He was a poster child for truly expressive visual musicians, the bisexual community and genderfuck fashion.
