Very recently, I discovered that Thomas turned 70 this year and celebrated by releasing Thomas & Friends: The Adventure Begins for DVD, which is a retelling of how Thomas came to the Island of Sodor and the first few stories from the book and TV series.
To make up for missing one of my most cherished childhood cartoon characters' birthday, I made this pic. To celebrate, I had 3 different Thomas' in a small parade: Classic Thomas, TAB Thomas, and the original Thomas created by Rev W Awdry.

Though the series is copyrighted by HiT Entertainment, the original Thomas the tank engine model (the one on the flatbed) belongs the Rev E Awdry and his son, Chris Awdry
