I was super lucky to recently be gifted lots and lots of different sized glass eyes! I decided to experiment with a tiny set first, and made this 2 1/2" tall screech owl via needle felting wool, wire and the eyes themselves. This tiny baby was so fun to make, and inspired by a recent evening of owling with my dad! I'm surprised how well the eyes hold up with simple krazy glue to the wool, but I think next time I'll take extra measures just in case. (Yeah, I'm always paranoid about things holding on properly, haha.)
I can't wait to show this little guy off to the wonderful person who gave me all those eyes the next time I see her!
