Thanks to Shikaro for helping me iron out all the fine details for having a final, precise reference for Trent put together!
While I have certainly drawn Trent before, I was constantly making changes and such throughout the process, so I felt it was about time to get a reference together so I have a concrete idea of how Trent will look.
While sharing many features with the common Tropius species, Trent sports a unique banana-beard, having shifted lower to form a crest/neckpiece from which his tie hangs.
I tend to think the fruit crest, along with inherited tail, are features attributed to having a Tropius father and Meganium mother, adopting the more vibrant and showy appearances from the latter.
Shikaro gets the credit for the addition to Trent's helmet/shade, in that it has the upward swoop at the end. Many times I had drawn Trent, the normal style of that particular part always tended to make drawing expressive eyes a bit of a difficulty. However, now with this new style, it opens up more of the face to put greater detail into the eyes, and I'm all for it! =3
