It's been a while since she tried books... Of course, that would make sense for Daisy to be cautious around anything. Being a walking embodiment of
accidental chaos wherever she goes, one can suspect it takes a while for her to come back to anything when any single actuion could be a very big
mistake.
It might also make sense to suppose she's safe in The Tomeatorium from this kind of thing. Faeries, being the highly thaumically capable species they
are, might be able to head off such incidents before they should become too harsh. Mother Jess being there does not hurt things either, as she can
browse the shelves in her stead for the particular book she wants.

But try to put back one book...


I had this idea in the works for a while, and I even made a prototype over on Twitter. Some ideas stick with you, but I guess the ones that stick with
you the most is the urge to draw someone's cute character. FalloutFox's Daisy is my latest victim subject because it's simply wonderful how hard she
tries, and every single one of my characters would dearly love to keep her safe.
Consequences may be severe.
