Okay! So. It's been a really long time since I genuinely really liked VR, I always liked his concept but as a character I've hated him for like around 5 years now and no matter what I did to try to change or fix him it looped back to him just pissing me off and it sucked. ):

But fucking christ I finally nailed it, I finally made a design that I love all around that I can draw that fits in with his story and that I can build a better VR around and I'm so so so happy!! I finally feel like all the bad vibes he gave me have been dumped and he just feels right and wahh. Nothing is gonna bring me down about him again I swear to fuck.

Anyway gushing aside about the actual design; the black version is his default look. He's a simple tool made by a designer so he has a similar drawn look to them. His shapeshifting abilities are near endless as he's not completely restricted to our physical plane, his face especially is very expressive, he can easily mimic other people's faces and display images on his head like a screen. Changing his colour is significantly harder and he's only been able to nail the colours on the right. He can perfectly mimic the shapes of other people but not their colours.

It's easy for him to hold any shape but he has a tendency to physically glitch out if he gets really upset or anxious (extreme emotional outbursts can leave him stuck in awkward glitched out shapes until he calms down). The colour is harder to hold and he generally only puts it on when he's most relaxed.

His basic personality is pretty much the same but I dunno having a fresh outlook on him now is giving him kind of a different/simpler vibe so I'll see if I can write something up another time.

In conclusion I feel like I can finally call VR one of my babies again and I'm excited to do more with him now. <333
