I made a shameless Greed expy for fun, I’m hesitant to use him for anything serious unless I can make the visual similarities less obvious, but here’s the story I came up with for him

A fearsome group of pirates made a plush doll and had a cursed zipper put on it that gave it life and endless space inside its canvas body. They stored all their treasures inside it as it essentially acted as its own guard, becoming superpowered with rage and attacking/killing anyone it didn’t recognize that tried to open its zipper. It was fond of the pirates and they were fond of it.

One day, the doll’s crew was finally overcome and killed one by one. The victors found the doll and, knowing of the curse, tore its head wide open and helped themselves to all the treasure they could carry. Without actually having the zipper touched the doll was only as powerful as a doll and could do nothing more than flail helplessly as its precious innards were harvested.

Word spread quickly and pirates came from all over to steal from the doll’s stash until it was completely empty. The doll sewed up the hole in its head with a patch and, armed only with a pair of needles, set out to restock its empty endless space.

The doll abhors all pirates of any kind and will steal from absolutely anyone. It trusts no one and refuses to ever share its treasure, willing to fight to the death to protect it, despite being weak and unable to use its Super Zipper Power (as it can’t reach the zipper itself).

Its very bitter and rude and jangles like a bag of coins when it moves.
