Here’s day 7! Her name is Lila.

Lila was born on a space station and has lived there her entire life. For hundreds of years a deadly gas has been spreading across the galaxy and infecting the surface of every planet. No one knows why or how, but the gas has properties that infects anyone that inhales it, and can even have negative effects on the skin with prolonged exposure. The gas has the power to mutate and kill.

In her lifetime Lila has seen planets go from safe and beautiful to dangerous, hazy deserts with no life in a matter of weeks. She’s lost family and many friends and has witnessed the population of her station dwindle over the years. She’s a sad and lonely person who is absolutely horrified of death. She clings to any potential new friend or the chance to save someone’s life, which can be her undoing, often putting herself in danger for the sake of others that don’t even deserve it.

Lila is curious and motherly and spends a lot of time going on explorations down on the surface to try and salvage anything, save someone, or find out where the gas is coming from. She comes off as timid, but is a heroic and hardy person just with a gentle personality.

She semi-recently lost one of her oldest friends to a sickness brought on by the gas. As sort of in memory of them, she’s continued to grow her hair out to unreasonable lengths. It’s gotten to the point where it often gets in the way and has almost gotten her in serious trouble on more than one occasion on the surface.

There are some very special things involving her as well but I’m still figuring all that out!
