Now that I look at it, the lines are colored in HORRIBLY. I guess what's what I get for using FireAlpaca to make it transparent.

they aren't horrible! After all, I don't really see anything "bad" about this picture. The anatomy, the colors, the feel; everything's amazing!

        Ahhhh, oh gosh thank you!

You're welcome! Is this your fursona or something?

          • Link

Mhmm! Cybera's her name, if that wasn't obvious haha. These are some recent changes to her design, and I have a fursuit (homemade) in the works for her. I'll be attending Anthrocon with her and I'm super excited
            But yeah, Cyb's my fursona.

Cool! She's a really cute character, is it okay for me to make fanart?

And I've never attended a Furcon before. Wow I don't even have a fursuit I'm so pathetic xD Although I plan on cough cough failing cough to make one during the summer of my Fursona, Techy. ^^

Oh man, I'd be delighted! Like I can't express how much I love it when people find my characters cute. I went to FurFright last year, in a horribly-made, unfinished partial I made. Sadly, it was FurFright's last year and well.. I'm just glad I got to see it before it was done with.

Good! I will start it ASAP (which may be a while, I'm gonna watch volume 1 of some cartoons).

And I don't like it when things end, it makes me sad. :(

                  • Link

Yeah, it was a huge bummer. Anthrocon's only a few hours away from where I live, so it's much easier to access. And if you'd like, I take requests; so I could make something for you in return! Although I can't guarantee it'll be done tonight.

It's fine, but you can if you really want to. It would be nice though. ^^

If you'd like me to, go ahead and give me a ref/link and what you'd like, I can do anthro and feral but I'm better with feral haha.

Don't worry I'm better at feral too! xD https://www.weasyl.com/submission/547829/techy-invented-a-jetpack This is an old pic so please bear with me. :P

Will do! I could sketch something up tomorrow and get it done later tomorrow. What species is your character? I assumed wolf, but if it's different please tell me (also i can't see the feet so idk what to do for the feet)

                            • Link

Techy's actually a cat, but yeah that pic soes make her look wolf-ish I'm so sorry xD (and yes you can look up)

I'm not familiar with FireAlpaca, but the lines don't look too bad. You should, though, watch where the color is bleeding over, particularly in the tail. I'm not sure what you were looking for in terms of critique, but I think you've got a pretty cute style here. Only thing in particular I'd say to watch out for is too make sure the tail looks like a continuation of the spine since right now it look too low and more connected to the rump; nothing too major though, that's one of the most common errors when drawing animals.

Yeah, the tail looks way out of place; thanks for noticing that! This image is based off one I drew in a notebook, which looks far better, and so I didn't have it for reference.
FireAlpaca is a program that's kind of like Paint Tool Sai and Photoshop's lovechild. Its pretty good, but it's "laggy" with my tablet, starts drawing the lines a second after I put my pen down, so the lines are sloppy.

The way I colored it in is why it's like that. Other drawings I make are careful and aren't bled out like that, it's just how FireAlpaca's selection system works. I only used it to make this transparent for my Tumblr blog. Otherwise, I use Paint Tool Sai

But overall, thank you for the helpful notes! And it's nice to hear those comments on my style!! c:
