Well it wasn't quite a freebie, but this is what Mr.Autopsy worked on when I was figuring out what I wanted it to look like.

The idea behind the basilisk was, trailing back to the old legends:
A mix of a frog and a chicken. But I also wanted to make it my own creature so I threw in a dog to the mix to make it all the more threatening.

The result is a creature with the following:
Chicken/Bird head.
Chicken/Bird beak.
Feathery Mane(Sort of, mane).
Frog like skin on the majority of it's body.
A tail with a deformed frog's hand at the end.
Frog legs.
And a frog's eye capable of causing harm at those who stare into it. (Basilisk's eye! Durr.)
