Ponett got me thinkin about obscure sonic characters which always makes me think of ray the flying squirrel?? so I ended up googling obscure sonic characters (specifically from the games, not comics) and found more (though full disclosure I did already know Fang cause he was in the UK comics)

I like Honey in particular because she’s from a fighting game but she wasn’t playable in the original arcade release. Well she’s PLAYABLE but only accessible by hacking, so that puts her on a whole other level of obscurity. I probably woulda loved her as a kid

A fun fact about Honey from the wiki is “in the hacked gameplay of the Arcade game, there is a glitch with Honey’s eyes that causes one of her eyes to look towards the player while the other looks at her opponent. There is no known method of fixing it properly, not even in recent emulators”. I like the idea that she has a lazy eye or maybe a glass eye that gets dislodged if she’s hit awkwardly during a brawl.
