So, there was a time several years ago when I felt like crap. I was walking down the street after having made a very important but very painful decision and I was brooding about what was going to become of my life. Then, out of nowhere, a huge moth came flying and landed on me. Just like that.
It lightened my day so much, and from that day on I developed a very deep love for moths. I already loved moths, but this event only made it run deeper and become more special.
So I decided i might as well try to doodle a moth (because I feel like crap and I fail at drawing humans)
I haven't been able to keep up with the inktober thing but meh. Like I care anymore.
About one hour. Ballpoint pen.

Oooh. Crow this is really amazing. It looks really good. You always surprise me with your pen and pencils doodles. Seriously, you're amazing no matter what you're drawing. You aren't crap at drawing humans.
I love moths too, they're so pretty. The one you drew looks incredibly fluffy and I want to pet it.
On another note... THAT HAND. My god. That hand is really amazing. I mean REALLY amazing. You even got the creases in the skin around the knuckle on the thumb and the fingernail you can see from the side, on the index finger... Oh my god it's amazing. Your shading with the pen is awesome. All of the creases in the hand are spot on and really good. ;v;
I really don't understand how you can think you are crap at artwork when you do things like this. You are not crap at drawing humans; your people are beautiful and not just because they are pretty, but because you take so much care when you draw even sketches. You take a long time on them and they come out beautiful and clean.
You're amazing. Never stop drawing. I love your art, it's gorgeous and it's always been beautiful.

Thank you Aya, you're always encouraging me so much even when I'm all moody and unpleasant, I don't even know how to thank you anymore ;w;
I'm not entirely disgusted with this little doodle. It came out surprisingly fast and more or less easily, that was odd. I practically drew it straight with the pen, only making a very very rough sketch with the pencil beforehand. I'm surprised.
And as for that hand, well, I didn't want to waste time searching for references and lose my drive so I just drew my own hand lol The shading I did it only by memory because once I grabbed the pen I moved my hand and I was like "oh welp, okay"
The moth was the only thing i used a reference from the net, but even that, i just picked the first little moth i saw. I just wanted to do things fast and without reasoning it too much.

I'm always happy to do whatever I can to help you feel better and to encourage you to keep trying and keep fighting against your bad feelings. I know it doesn't seem worth it sometimes but in the end it will be. I know you'll feel even more horrible if you quit and I don't want those feelings to destroy you. I want to see you do well and be satisfied and happy.
I'm happy it came out so easy and I know you can still doodle and get back on your feet. I'll hold your hand if I have to. :3
I really love how this doodle came out and I really love your artwork; I always have. I want art from you always because I think your art is beautiful. Using your own hand is a good reference. I love how it came out. The way you did the fingernails, the creases in the skin.. all of it. The moth is fluffy and amazing.
I appreciate you every day we spend together, every conversation we have. I really enjoy your company and wouldn't give it up for anything. ;v;
