Nightmare Moon had to be sure there would be no distractions, or things she couldn't handle once Equestira was under her control, under the eternal night. There were others that did enjoy the rays of the light her sister brought about, and she couldn't have that. "Come out and face me beast!" She roared at the treeline. She knew that the larger, more decorated creature wouldn't be able to resist such a challenge. A roar echoed from the dark, birds and smaller beasts fled from the sound. He emerged from the dark woods, his snarl turning to a smirk as he saw who was stupid enough to call him out so rudely. "A dark pony is what bothers me? you know I have other things that require my attention. This better be worth my while...banished princess." He exited out into the open and slowly started to circle around, initiating the ceremonial battle circle that was a part of his creatures tradition. "Oh I assure you, well worth your time lizard."

Tried to do a dumb little story to go along with this...I am not good at writing >.> A long commission for Mahad-dragon over on FA that was very very challenging. I literally watched every episode of MLP twice to get into the feeling for this. I am not a brony or a pegasister but I do like the show. Please no rude or mean comments regarding this.

It was a wonderful experience to be able to draw in another style, and turning his dragon into MLP style was a challenge. Also my progress on nightmare moon from my other image a while ago really made me happy! Still really proud of how Ma'had came out though! I may have to draw him again in this style, it was really cool and I hope that this appeases you Ma'had! You have been ponyfied without being a pony XD
