Life Cycle of the Bahaman Lop-Eared Shark [Nut_Case, Polywomple, et al]

Cryptozoo

The Bahaman Lop-Eared Shark begins its marvelous life journey as an amphibious larva with highly developed ears that are excellent for detecting land predators. Here, Delia demonstrates its development into a more aquatic adult form as its cute lil' floppy ears become vestigial and its dorsal fin grows more pronounced.

Delia has gone through several revisions as a character and I thought it would be cute to rationalize them as physical changes in her species. Ontogeny recapitulates phylogeny and all that.

Art by nut_case nut_case , polywomple polywomple, and me.
