There was a few things that reaaaaally bugged me in the 2003 design.

His face literally looked broken and bent. His teeth looked like shark teeth as he spoke.

His feet looked like those weird costume dinosaur feet.

Overall appearance pointed more to a raccoon than a rat since he was too hunched and the ears were too tiny and teddy-like.

Next on, I’ll probably redraw the 2007 Splinter from the movie or the Splinter from the 1987 series.
