Tech is a goofy, childlike prankster at his very core. He, along with his boyfriend, run a resistance group fighting a dystopian, oppressive government that has banned free thought and individuality. He is a master hacker, providing the resistance with the means to get in and out of government buildings, retrieve information and otherwise oppose the government.

He has been in and out of the governmental "correctional facilities" since he was 16 under several different aliases and thus, is vindictive and combative when confronted by government agents.
