I don't always know
what the best thing is
to say.
You see,
my thoughts are not
words
as you know them
but rather
they are jumbled
emotions
concepts
images
and sensations
all tangled in knots
like a
damaged spider web
of information
and in seventeen years
I have yet
to find
the best way
to get them across.
So I am
sorry
that
at times
I can only say
a single word
or say I do not know
when a question is asked.
Perhaps it is not
that I do not know
but rather
I cannot put what I think
into language
as you know it.
