I'm eventually trying to make this lineless; this is just the full lined version that is being saved for two reasons; to show uncolored/shaded elements, and so that if the lineless version is too shitty, I can clean it up to be within the lines and submit the lines version instead of the lineless.

I'm not so great at getting that "painting" effect with digital art, which is what I intended this to originally have. So far it just looks like I used twenty different fucking layers to shade it (and semi color... the character is silver but yano, shading).

Other info... my attempted light source is in the upper right corner, but in front of the character. Sort of as if there's a floating ball of light just off screen-- in fact, positioned just in front of the viewer's right shoulder.

Her arm and ankle are supposed to be pulled back a bit more, away from the light source. I've got a long way to go, but I hope this is a decent wip so far.
