I was thinking about both a new sticker design to put in my store, and a companion character for my Space Mouse, and I came upon Pootling when I was looking through my archive.

The original concept for Pootling was that he's just some little robot who can fly using advanced electromagnetism and firmly believes himself to be a dog. I don't think it needs to get too much more complicated than that.
