So my mother and I try out a load of weird vegetarian foods together. Today she wanted to make a bunch of strange nutrition-boosting juice blends and test them on me.

The most notable was the Bloody Carrots beverage concocted of beets, carrots, and blood oranges. Beets have a very...earthy flavour and threw the potentially yummy drink out of balance.

I got to drink it out of a fancy crystal though, so it wasn't a total bust.
