The two princes are introduced to someone new, a new cub that has journeyed from a far away land. Both having no idea how important he'll be later on in their lives.

The background was done long after the two characters, that's why they look a bit off and had to constantly be fixed. A single layer and only so much can be fixed on them so, I just gave up. Kion's mane always reminded me of Mufasa's so that's where I borrowed that from. Scar's looks a bit more radical, I likened his mane to just simple spikes of rough fur pointed backward. It would've been too easy to borrow too heavily on cub Kovu's mane tuft, so, I'm very happy with how Scar's mane came out, looking unique and different on his own.

The background, because the characters are so close, will also be used in a different picture that I'm currently working on.
