Lyna deserved so much better than loving Cassius, let's be fair, he didn't love her and never would, not nearly the way she wanted, the way she loved him, Cassius loves very few things and Lyna was not one of them
He got used to having her around and wanted to keep her because she gave him affirmation and she was devoted to him, he got used to having her around, so she was "his" no matter how incorrect that is
It's okay, Aizawa will give her more love and care than Cassius ever would or could, she's in good hands now, she'll be okay, but God did she love Cassius
