Venti settled down to people-watch, pulling his phone out of his pocket and smiling at a new notification, hope fluttering in his chest. but he sighed and deflated when he saw it was just a ping from his mod group chat.

“Neglectful bastard.”

Venti muttered under his breath as he quickly typed out a reply, sending a string of smiley faces in reply to Ren and Aether’s suggestions on back lighting for his next video.

The deceptively young looking man’s mood perked up when he noticed who else was online, his eyes caressing his lover’s name with interest. then Venti jumped headfirst into the chat, addressing his love.

“Zhongli~” Venti wrote out, taking a sip from his smoothie and twirling the end of a braid around a finger. “baaaaaabbbbby~”

Venti puffed out his cheeks when Zhongli didn’t reply, even though the other man was clearly online and could see his messages.

“Zhongli. Zhongli. Zhongli. Zhongli.” Venti copy-pasted the other man’s name in an attempt to get his attention, his idea of people-watching completely forgotten in favor of getting the attention of the person he wanted most.

Venti sighed, causally swinging his feet and leaning back, snickering when he got question marks from both of his mods at his continuous messages.

“Zhongli. Zhongli! baby. babe. love. darling. honey. pay attention to me! pay attention to me!”

Venti grumbled at the continued lack of replies, until he perked up at a sudden idea. “Zho~ooonnn~li!” Venti wrote, stretching himself out and cracking his back. “I’m horny as fuck right now, baby. that new toy I bought came today, and I can’t wait to get you alone so I can make you scream with it~”

Venti smiled, especially when he got a new message near immediately after he sent that one, one actually from the person he wanted.

“Barbatos!” was all Zhongli wrote, and Venti could nearly see the blush that was most likely currently painting Zhongli’s pretty face.
