Tbh I figure this takes place after everything, and this is Pirouette's first time being away from the twins, his baby boys he got pregnant with after his first time with Muriel, he left them with Daphne, since I didn't feel she fit going with anyone personally, since she's an earth magician, she'd just be able to tell where the dog is and that it isn't a ghost because she can feel the paws hitting the ground if she tries, she'd make things too easy, but she's also only a Portia romance, so how else would she go with? she'd also be able to pretty easily be able to get Lucio and Julian out of the maze at first (tho not so after awhile, her magic would be confused and jumbled, especially with Valdemar in there, she'd be very uncomfortable being unable to tap into her magic, so she's watching the kids, getting her nephews hay rides and making rock sculptures and holding them together with magic, just being a good aunt)

I honestly love that Valerius is doing his job and doing it right pretty much, I'm proud of him, he's being a grump about it but he's doing it, and he begrudgingly admits to Nadia that he is enjoying himself, I'm proud of Valerius (and Volta, but I'm talking about Valerius) going from in Lucio's pocket pretty much to straight up just good in all routes, mean, but still good and actually knowing what he's doing
