I wanted to draw a husky and play around with both Mandala designs and henna designs. The husky's markings are inspired by my late Siberian Husky "Starbuck" - who was named after Dana Scully in the X-Files (her father called her Starbuck, she called him Ahab after the characters in Moby Dick.)
