my entry for the banner contest going on on akrasia, featuring the character of a friend who's alpha of the pack called divine cinder. my character, leon, is beta in the pack. they're a sun-worshipping, fire-based pack and they're awesome. even though leon isn't at all religious, although he believes in lady fate and just kinda rolls his eyes at all the religious shenanigans his friends talk about. LOL

anyways, this was the first time in a while i put this much effort into something. i went with an ace idea i had and ran with it, experimented and ultimately had fun even though i whined about how crappy it is... cause i don't color often, and this had some intense shading/lighting. LOL

it was super fun to do in the end, and it was really nice to finish something completely, compete in a contest and just figure out some new techniques~
