Moderate warning for swearing.
I've had this sitting around for a while and I want to show what I've been up to. I'm not using a Wiki host or anything; this is hosted on Tumblr (though I might switch to a webhost again...) and created by me using a basic knowledge of HTML and CSS. The text is bigger than what's here since I wanted to show what the page will consist of. The background info will be hidden by default because spoilers.
Unfortunately I still have a LOT to do with Kari's design so it might be a while before her page is finally released. For now, this is the draft and I'm glad I was able to make it happen.
And maybe now you all can finally meet my characters, haha! So much writing though but I need the practice. I just gotta stop being lazy.

It wasn't too difficult, I just took what I learned from Codecademy and brainstormed what I wanted. Originally I had it on a webhost (x10hosting) but it was very picky with some things so I just moved it to Tumblr. Only downside, besides having a ridiculous amount of pages, is I can't seem to get the css style document implemented. It has to be a .css file exact or it won't work. So if I end up making changes to one wiki page I would have to do it for all of them manually. >_<
Not like that matters cause I really have no motivation for my characters. The blog is password protected and nearly abandoned for the time being. I just don't know anymore.

Hrm, I suppose you already tried CharaHub for storing characters and didn't find what you were looking for?
Best I can say is that I know how you feel, but I don't know what to offer. The perfect place is impossible to find. I ended up just... settling, I suppose, for putting it where I could. Motivation is a fickle mistress, too. She'll come in sporadic waves, but never often enough.

Oh, it's not about finding the perfect place to host my characters. I'm satisfied with the work I did and I don't mind using Tumblr. It's just hard to work on the characters themselves. And with me being on and off drawing them I sometimes wonder why I bother with it at all.

Oh cool, that's neat :o Tbh I'm surprised you pulled that off on tumblr. I still just use the premades they give me because I hate fighting with that stuff.
