All Karantac host the same relative visual design. The only thing that would be different amongst them is the coloration of their crystal hosted around the neck. The size of the crystal, coloration to it and shape all define their ranking amongst a tribe they belong to. Karantac are often used as pets to Benersons' people, but the more colorful and larger of the Karantac often are used in hunting trips or battle. Their horns have rubies sporting out of them, that are connected all the way down to the root of where their horns sprout. A Karantacs horns do not grow until they reach the age of a year. The rubies sporting from their horns soon form within months after. Karantac will often be on a much larger scale in size than Benersons kind if used for physical work. Smaller ones, the size of a large dog, are used as pets. The average life span of a Karantac is estimated at 250 years earth time. Their maximum known age as of yet is 300-380 in the wild. Among tribes, their life span is cut short due to constant rivalries among tribes, especially the Galaktos. There aren't that many Karantac in the wild as they prefer being domesticated by choice. Common foods in earths' tounge include a type of fish, fruits, deer and boar-like beasts and carcasses. During the seasons on the Galaktos' home planet, their pelts will often change. In warmer weathers they are the bright and tan color shown here. In the more cooler times, they turn to a more duller coloration, often times completely grey.
