Redesign of Brace, an Eastern Canidae, and one of my oldest character. Which, as my last Canidae redesign, took way longer than expected.

Some lore you might not care about to enjoy the art:

Canidaes are a race from "Facing Tales" (Home made Story) looking like canines of all sort, from wolf to dogs.
Unlike their Northern Brethren, the Eastern Canidae are "Old warriors" preferring organized battle, and honour-bound fights over quick raids and what they consider "trickery".
Even centuries after first contact with the humans colonists, they still use armour design and melee weapons from the old times. Even though they usually use modern materials. Making them look even more anachronic than others Canidaes.

As the Alpha of his clan, Brace is fitted with the best heavy armour available, made of a Manite-steel alloy, using the rare resource available on Gaia to make it near impervious to kinetic weapons of any sort.
His weapons of choice, a rifle-shotgun, a Zweihander, an arming sword and a short knife, all of Canidae design, allow him to be versatile at any range and any type of combat.
His equipment and impressive height (Approx. 250cm) always make a decent impression on a battlefield. With his martial skill matching the look.
He is considered one of the pillars of present Canidae leadership, and the most important peacekeeper of the east. ("Peacekeeping" in Canidae terms being "beating everyone who try to move the clans borders too much")
