Well, this was just supposed to be a little thing for my toyhou.se that I went absolutely nuts on. This might very well be the best thing I draw all year, honestly. It'll certainly be hard to top.

I've had this idea for a couple months now--again, something for my toyhou.se profile involving a couple OCs and my sona, because what was up on there was drawn in fall 2022 before I knew how to draw anything yet, certainly not Cammy, or snoots, or hands, or eyes, or funny poses. I did the initial sketch and lines, and I thought it was coming out really good and dynamic, so I wanted to match that with the lighting. First time I've ever lit a drawing, fun fact! I've obviously done shading before, but Caby suggested I do a lighting pass on top of it to make it pop a little more, and I was hesitant (new things are scary), but it was very worth it.

I do find it amusing that this is effectively four generations of Cammy OCs I've been obsessed with over the years--Felix, the Oshawott, was a boy I came up with in 2014! Definitely gotta give him his due. Now that I have my profile reset and everything hidden, I can start over, get all my old and new lads accounted for, and make it something I'm not deeply embarrassed by.
