A funny situation I find myself in since starting to draw has been that I didn't design most of my OCs, since Caby was the one who drew for me for all those years. Now, I find myself going back and wanting to tinker with them. Plus, last time most of them got design updates was a minimum two years ago, some cases, four years ago...

This is Colton! He's my lil orphaned raccoon guitarist guy. His whole thing is that him and his single mom lived together in this shoebox apartment in Emerald Acres (the big hippie-dippie city that the trio also comes from), and when she disappears suddenly, he takes the money she had hoarded and escapes to Apricot Bay, a secluded little coastal town nearby he knows nothing about nor knows anyone from. He's enough of an adult in his own mind to figure something out there, but really, he's scared and pretending to know what he's doing. He's only little...

(Then he meets the art gallery owner, stays there for a while, becomes a music geek while he's there, picks up the gallery owner's old guitar, meets a little Egyptian fennec girl, and her folks take him in, but that's a whole long story on its own...)

This one was really more expression practice than anything, but it looks like a ref, so I figured I'd designate it as that officially. I love how it came out, he's so adorable! That stripey jacket was my comfort object in college, so it felt good to put him in it as well. (Caby says he came out looking like King Julian from Madagascar and now I cannot unsee it.)
