The 1997 Sadtubbies Incident was the least known controversy involving the teletubbies (unlike the Lion & Bear episode). It is unknown what happened during that day, much about the incident is scarce and unknown but it was described as being "traumatic". According to a witness (who wishes to stay anonymous), one of their relatives was on the set when it happened, whenever they ask what happened he then starts to scream (poor kid).

There's only one clue as to what happened: have you ever wondered why Ragdoll Productions doesn't want the press to see the entire set and why invitees have to remain blindfolded at all times?

Unfortunately like I said, there's not much info out there. It seems everyone has completely forgotten about it entirely, most who witnessed it when it happened urgently requiere therapy.

It wasn't until the early 2020s when this photograph resurfaced somewhere obscure on the internet. For some odd reason the digitized appears to look vintage and creepy, either it was the work of a prankster or something else. Luckily few saw this picture and probably for the very best. It's a good thing nobody remembers it anymore.
