Oh, that boy!

The line between old and new is barely noticeable in town. The windy buildings, the windy roads. The rusty pipes, the dusty windows. The shops, the people, the treasures... It all seems frozen in time!

I entered a cozy store somewhere high up. "Splendid Sodas" it was called, and boy... That boy!

The assistant there was the cutest man! He was so soft and special. He wanted us both to try a new flavor, "mineral eel" or something? But I asked him so many questions, and he answered each one so truthfully. And with his deep, soft voice!

I wanted to stay with him. I wanted to tell him I liked him... but he just seemed so friendly and innocent. I didn't want to disturb this splendid moment at Splendid Sodas. I let the moment pass, shiny and untouched.

I'll never forget his smell.

This is me trying out SAI for line work. Was a lazy test run, so the Character design is based on those seen in Ian Everett's Poppy Opossum, a splendid comic that I recommend to ALL people!
