I posted this some time ago on my Naruto fan-art blog. It's a little dated and pretty messy, but I still like it. Critique is welcomed anyway.

A popular Naruto fan-artist made a post on what the Sand Siblings would be if they were owls, and I promptly fell in love with the idea.

• Gaara = Sokoke Scops Owl (Otus ireneae)
• Temari = Pharoh Eagle Owl (Bubo ascalaphus)
• Kankuro = Cape Eagle Owl (Bubo capensis)

It's just a bit odd that 100% blood-related siblings would be completely different species, but that's alright. I have a hard time trying to figure out one that works for all of them too. We'll just avoid their origin story for now, lqtm.

Any ninja-battle-owl is awesome in my book anyway. I want to do some BA combat scenes with them in the future.
