Okay, so get this. I'm a furry. I played Furcadia (for a very short period of time) and I had the desire to create my own portrait. So, bloody hell, I did it. I used the color palette used in Furcadia so that it would match up with my character's colors. And, because I'm a dark little sonovabitch, I put blood spray all over the back wall.
The sketch took me 45 minutes, because I'm not a speed artist. I then took the next 5 and a half hours shrinking the image down and converting it, pixel by pixel, at 1400% magnification, into a 95x95 pixel portrait. This was the first one I ever did, and I'm goddamn proud of it.
