How To Draw Human Hands

ClemicalTheCreature

Decided to upload another tutorial I made a while back, this will show a technique I use to draw human hands and it may not work for you since everyone has their own technique but you never know. :)
Now I will explain everything in the description because I didn't want to put it on the picture.

Once I find out what position I want the hand to be in I will draw two ovals, these will be for the pads that are in the palm. Then I would add a longish rectangle that is slightly curved so I know where the knuckles are located, make sure you don't have the rectangle be too far away from the ovals. (I had that happen a lot when I first tried this and I sometimes put them too close. T_T)
Now to add the fingers and thumb. ^_^
For them I like to add three dots, first dot goes to the knuckle, second dot goes to the center where the finger can bend and the third dot goes to the finger tip then I like to connect them with lines. I do the same with the thumb but instead I would put it beside the other oval.

I hope my wording wasn't confusing. ._.
Also here is another thing that could help you understand more.
Take out the hand you don't draw with and with your other hand trace the areas with your index finger or tablet pen if you have one. Make the two ovals on the pads of your hand, go across your knuckles to make the rectangle then go across your fingers and thumb while stopping for each dot.
That may sound odd but it helped me understand more so maybe it would help you too.
Sorry that the description ended up being long, I just had to explain everything. xD Also I originally uploaded this on DeviantART, I deleted it but I found a Jpg version on my other computer drive. I was hoping to get this transparent but I guess I can't, guess it's better then my sig version though.
