This image began as a sketch done for me by Eternity of Never (whose current web presence, if any, is unfortunately unknown to me), which was then colored by Umuntu back in 2006.

Seeing that outfit, the wooden sword, and the nighttime setting reminds me of earlier times. In high school I was involved in a group of friends who met at the park to spar with shinai several times a week. Good times, good people.
