Livy leaned back into the creaking sofa and patted her stomach. “Eat your cookie loser.”

Jane picked up the last cookie and bit into it. “I never want to see another cookie again” she groaned.

They both sat for a moment, low growling sounds coming from their stomachs as they digested their sugary feasts.

“Same thing next week?”

“You’re on.”
