Here is a picture of Patch’s (the green and black wind Demon) girlfriend. She is a deaf fire Demon. She and her girlfriend communicate with sign language, because as the creator of this webcomic, my word is law, and I say that that’s what they do. Perhaps it is called Lingo Sign Language (LSL?) ANYWAY, as I post this, she isn’t in the comic yet, but I did draw her quite some time ago for a commission. I’ve been wanting an excuse to put them in the comic for a long time, and that time is… soon!

I’m not 100% certain on this yet, but I think I want Patch’s real name to be Hakka (Japanese mint) and Nikkei (Japanese word for cinnamon), fitting in with the theme of nearly every character who was introduced in St. Curtis having a name that is related to food. But their names might not ever come up in the comic anyway; I’m still fine tuning future dialogue.
