Test render. I cannot turn the particle system's visibility on because it crashes my computer, unless I only let it show parent particles rather than the children in which case it freezes for several seconds every time I change visibility. I'll see if I can chop up the terrain in quadrants and put each one on a different layer to spare my computer.
